Engine Program

The following files must be loaded under a directory called Engine Program so that searches for links by the programs can be accomplished. These files are used to calculate rock fragments by weight, sieves, Atterburgs, AASHTO classifications, and Unified classifications.

The following documents require Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access Database.

Provide steps to use the Engine Program files.

Microsoft Excel SpreadsheetEngine.xls (1,248 KB)
Excel file with worksheets that are used to complete the calculations.

Microsoft Access DatabaseEnginedata.mdb (898 KB)
This Access database file is used to store results gained with the engine.xls file.  Also, there is a NASIS report that dumps data into this file to be retrieved by the engine.xls file for completing calculations.

Microsoft Excel SpreadsheetUnified (38 KB)
Displays the standard chart for keying out Unified classification with appropriate data elements.
